The Sita Maxi Dress in Bluebell has been lovingly and mindfully hand-crafted using beautiful hand block printed fabric. This flattering feminine silhouette adorned with hand-placed florals features an elasticated scoop neckline finished with a self-adjustable tie at the bust, elasticated sleeves, and a captivating floor-length tiered design bringing the stunning blue hues to life.

Material ~ 100% Cotton. This style is fully lined.

Garment Care ~ We recommend a gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

I haven’t worn this dress yet because it’s winter here, but it’s absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, I bought it in a size slightly larger than I need, but my size and color were out of stock. I still decided to keep it because it’s so beautiful and feminine! It’s very delicate!

I love this dress! I had been eyeing the Sita dress for a while, but it sells out so quickly, and I was also going back and forth on whether I wanted to splurge on it, but I finally took the plunge when they came out with the Bluebell colour. I am SO glad I did. I find it hard to find a dress with a free-flowing silhouette that doesn't look like a potato sack, but the cut of this dress is perfect. It is comfortable, flattering and so pretty. If you're into more free-flowing silhouettes, I would highly recommend! For reference, I'm 5'2" and the length was fine on me.

This was my first purchase from Daughters of India. I was impressed by how quickly my package got to me in Canada. I love the softness and quality of the material. The colour and style is perfect for me. I understand these dresses are meant to be flowy but next time I may opt for a smaller size. I purchased my true size a large. Perhaps there may be some shrinkage?
